M&S had some snowman ones last year but don't seem to be doing them this year - has anyone seen any while they've been out shopping?

Lush have some wicked xmas ones, snowmen, father christmas and spakly snow ones.

(Charlee gets very excited at the thought of Lush!)

The staff in out local Lush shop all know me i am in there every week!

Libra1975 · 18/11/2008 10:25

Can I just add, if you are going to give them as presents it might be best to give the ones that aren't full of sparkle or flowers as there is nothing worse than getting out of a lovely relaxing bath to then have to clean the bath!!!

P.S my top Lush product is Buffy, it's a miracle product.

Anywhere apart from Lush - there isn't one near me, though i may be in london soon and could some there then if all else fails...

I think you can mail order from Lush.

cheesesarnie · 18/11/2008 10:37

i love the lush ones

GrapefruitMoon · 18/11/2008 10:37

I know but they're not really what I'm after - they are for boys. The Lush ones are a bit too girly... plus they are a bit pricy for stocking fillers for children...

they are really easy to make yourself if you feel up to it.
My kids are making them as pressies for all the adult females, teachers etc. Just a 3 to 1 mix of citric acid and bicarb of soda (buy online easy enough or even from chemists). Recipes are all over the web, but you just mix these 2 white powders together, add whatever essential oils you decide to use (few drops of lavender and mandarin are fairly safe bets), add a little glitter, silver confetti snowflakes or whatever you want, can colour with cosmetic (or even food) colouring (1 drop is enough or will stain the bath and skin!). Bind them with a few squirts of water from a mister (hand sprayer like you use for indoor plants). Careful with the water not to overspray and set off the reaction. then when damp, press into a mould - ice cube tray is great. Leave for half an hour to set and tip out. Pop little cubes in a pretty box/silky bag etc and voila. All done. Fraction of the cost and lots of fun.
www.soapkitchenonline.co.uk is a good place for supplies if planning on a bulk session.
Good for a party idea/brownie pack etc too
