Ds's Christmas list consists of "anything Ben 10-ish".

I'm thinking the Deluxe Omnitrix, a few figures and the DVD.

Anyone any experience of the above? Or other ideas?

I've just discovered that the omnitrix is a Top 10 toy so will snap one up fast!!

tassisssss, this may be good point to let you know that both i and sil have bought your ds ben10 stuff.... will update you when i see you so that you can shop informed!

BlackEyedDog · 17/11/2008 22:33

ds has the omnitrix. Not the LCD one, that one doesn't look right apparently. He loves it. On before school, on straight after.

We thinking of getting him a Rust Bucket for C'mas.

ds2 (7) had everything ben 10 for his birthday in june. i had bought him a nintendo ds and he had to have a blsck one, on the night before his b'day i set it all up for him so he could just turn it on and use it, made the background screen lime green. he had ben 10 wrapping paper and cards, the fleece blanket, the duvet set, 5 figures, the top trumps, the ds game and his omnitrix. (was not all from me)
for christmas he is getting another six figures, the deluxe omnitrix (off my brother) ben 10 boxers and socks, a sweatshirt, the slippers and pyjamas.
the worst part is that all my other kids (ds1-9.8, dd1-3.8, and dd2-2.8) also love ben 10 and they all go around the house singing the theme tune. it drives me bloody nuts!!!

cherryliquormonster · 17/11/2008 22:39

oh, and ds2 also had the rust bucket last christmas

have a look here
there is some fab ben 10 stuff on here

NorbertDentressangle · 18/11/2008 09:18

tassisss -like Twinklytoes said John Lewis has free delivery so it is a good price there.

I object to paying P&P on the whole especially if only ordering 1 item. I just wish play.com did more toys and things as their P&P is free too.

hannahsaunt · 18/11/2008 11:59

We have something quite different from Ben10 so you won't be totally overwhelmed!

tassisssss · 18/11/2008 13:23

Man, RL friends - it's NOVEMBER - what've you all bought for my ds already for??! This kind of behaviour I expect from ja9, but the rest of you?!! And as for my other SIL, she must have got hers in October as if I'm to be believed it's in Ja9's loft...

Thanks everyone. Especially good to know about JL free delivery - i'm off to shop!

Am also about to start a thread on what apart from Ben 10 your 5 year old boys would like this Christmas as I was going to suggest Ben 10 stuff from my Mum and now want to think of something else in case this ends up being a fad.

I got the elux omnitrix in the sainsburys half price sale for £6.98!

lunavix · 19/11/2008 11:36

Hmm

which omnitrix is the authentic one then? lol. Was getting one for ds but don't want to be told off.

scattyspice · 19/11/2008 12:52

DS had the original omnitrix (cheaper version) for his birthday in the summer - he loves it. The newer one (delux) is a bit more wizzy (but basically the same). You'd probably better get the new one lunax.

Ds has the handbook - 'reads' it everynight with a torch in bed LOL!

I'm getting some of the figures and probably the annual.

ForeverOptimistic · 19/11/2008 12:55

Doublebluff - where did you manage to get hold of the scooter?

Thanks.

DoubleBluff · 20/11/2008 13:59

Toys r Us - it has ben 10 figures underneath

lunavix · 21/11/2008 20:51

Help!

On toys r us there's three omnitrix(es?sorry don't know the plural!)

Also in case anyone is interested, if you spend £40 on ben 10 bits, you get an omnitrix for free.

There's a Ben 10 link from front page.

So which one shall I get my ds? Does one have games or something? It may confuse him...

wrinklytum · 21/11/2008 20:55
