I don't want "stuff" that will just sit there.

Part of me is thinking cds, but can't be arsed to work out what I want.

No dvds I want.

I still have books from LAST christmas waiting to read.

Maybe boots?

I have about £50-£70 to spend.

HELP!

I would rather like Johnny Depp, but apparently he costs more, and DH may not be happy having to sleep on the sofabed....

spa day? theatre tickets?? shopping day with dad??

GiraffeAHolic · 10/11/2008 11:19

Sorry no help but exactly the same problem.

I've put all my energy into choosing gifts for dd that I have no idea what I want.

And I have a 3pm Sunday deadline to inform my dad what I'd like

Some sort of pampering voucher? Or do you have space for a tree - you could get an apple tree or a cherry tree that would be self-fertilizing and you'd have the fun of picking your own fruit. Or perhaps a couple of books on audio cd - ones that you'd like to have the time to read, but haven't, then you can listen to them while you do other stuff/drive places.

Merry Christmas!

perfume?? clothes? anything you need or would like but haven't got round to getting yourself.
Nice leather journal??

sunnygirl1412 · 10/11/2008 11:21

Oooh - theatre vouchers are a good idea, or cinema vouchers perhaps.

Twims · 10/11/2008 11:23

What do you like doing, cooking, reading, drinking, eating out, films?

Flamesparrow · 10/11/2008 11:27

lmao @ shopping with my dad

I'm not really a spa day person, already got a tree and in rented place so would have to leave it if we move. Audio books kids talk over

Clothes - my shape is changing a lot atm, so again, as much as I would LIKE them, not really doable.

You all hate me now for being so awkward

Always like drinking but will be stopping booze after Christmas

Theatre always ends up costing for the travel etc

I think the boots thing is seeming most sensible isn't it?

Do you not have a theatre in your town?

Flamesparrow · 10/11/2008 11:33

Not that has the same feeling iyswim.

what about hair dresser vouchers? I'm completely crap for putting trips to the hairdresser on the long finger and therefore look like a minger most of the time. If I had vouchers I would be forced to be more stylish.

Or 6 months of eyelash tinting (haven't a clue how much this cost btw as I've never had it done) or eyebrow shaping or manicures.

mishymoo · 10/11/2008 11:39

Boots - now that's a good idea
