What flavour icecream would you reckon is the most Christmassy?

Now being a proud owner of an icecream maker (freecycle) and having made the most delicious apple icecream,
what unusual icecream flavour would be best for christmas?
I was thinking vanilla with some brandy in, but MIL avoids alcohol so perhaps need non-alcoholic alternative
Any suggestions, am salivating already in anticipation.....

I've made Christmas Pudding ice cream before by just making a batch of standard vanilla and stiring in a crumbled pudding part way through churning. Freeze in a pudding bowl and turn out onto plate to serve.

I suspect it will be easier all round, to buy qood quality pudding and then stir into the vanilla icecream
But am also liking the QS idea to likearse impress MIL

I love icecream so much (in case anyone hadn't realised)
No room in my freezer though to store the stuff
Need a new freezer

cant remember where i got the idea for this but:

almond ice cream with broken amaretti biscuits and a touch of amaretto (optional)you mould it around the inside of a bowl and then fill with raspberry sorbet then turn it right way round and slice like a sponge pudding..i think its called a 'bombe'

wonderful!

Oh, oh, oh (extremely excited emoticon), definitely Amaretto biscuit icecream.

My local pub used to make it but the last time we went they took it off the menu .

If you live near me and you make some, I will be your best friend!!

hehehehe,

i dont follow recipies, i just always make a basic vanilla ice cream (like creme anglise) and then throw in what i think will work (like broken up after eights...my god chewy heaven!)

or chopped up celebrations...thats christmassy???!!!

a fruit crumble on....my version broken shortbread biscuits and some apple or rhubarb.

sorbets are easy too and the raspberries have to be put through a sieve.

haven't ever done it without an ice cream machine though.
