I have 3 girls (8, 5 and 1) and have no idea about pressies for boys.

Each year i get a football calander/cup etc or get dh to choose an item of clothes but i wanted to get them something different this year.

If you have a boy of any of these ages, what do they like to get?

Max of £10 for each child ...and they aren't siblings so i can't get a pressie for them to share.

Any ideas? Please help ...

9 yr old might like an actual football. Or a science kit type thing.

online CD WOW vouchers? or itunes ones? cinema ticket voucher.

ds is 12 he is into Warhammer (games workshop stuff) not v useful if you dont know whether they are in to it, but handy of you are as there are lots of bits and bobs there under £10
TBH, any construction kit (airfix and the like) would go down well.

He loves the Eragon series of books

Accessories for ds: new stylus kit (he is always losing his!)

Necklace or bracelet; you know the leather and shell type ones!

Now 387 (or whichever number it is at so far)

Top Gear stuff; the "Challenges" DVDs always go down well

Why not ask them or their parents what they might like?

I could tell you that ds2 (9) loves construction things - those sort of books that you cut up and fold everything and stick and make castles or fighter jets or a Tardis or whatever. But ds1 (11) would despise you for ever if you bought him such a thing at age 9 or younger or older.

I could tell you that the book ds1 really wants is Necropolis by Anthony Horowitz, apart from the fact that he's actually just bought it, so would be very disappointed if you got it for him. And ds2 would be devastated if you bought him something like that as he doesn't read novels at all.

What I'm saying is that by this stage boys have widely divergent tastes. If you want to just chuck away £40 on token presents, feel free.

But if you want something that is more likely to be appreciated ask for suggestions or send them cash.

Hi the cherub spy books are really popular with boys.

Great ideas - thanks

roisin - i don't want to ask them as unfortunately i am on quite a tight budget and i can't risk them asking me to get something that i can't afford

Guinness Book of Records for the 9 yr old?

Top Gear have brought out their first Annual?

(I have bought one each for my DS's 11 & 9)

How about i-tunes vouchers for the older two (or maybe three)?

Game vouchers for the younger two?
