that possibly isn't gadget - oriented?

Lee Evans DVD and a new leather belt.

ToughDaddy · 26/10/2008 21:08

lukylady- try runnersworld for fitted new trainers. They film you running in store (no cost) and fit you with the right shoes.

foxinsocks · 26/10/2008 21:12

omg at that lego giant ball. You'd just need a two year old to sit on it after you'd spend a few weeks building it!

Hmm good thread, I need to think about this.

reckon he'd like tickets to the Rothko exhibition, lots of books (haven't asked him if any he specifically wants), West Wing dvds, probably top of his list would be a weekend away sans children.

foxinsocks · 26/10/2008 21:13

spend=spent

love pass the pigs!! makin'bacon

dh would like a working weather station linked into his computer but there isn't much else - so he may well get it.

foxinsocks · 26/10/2008 21:15

oh yes and new footie boots

Libra1975 · 26/10/2008 21:15

Aston Martin DB9 filled with naked lesbians.

procrastinatingparent · 26/10/2008 21:16

West Wing DVDs!

Thank you, fox - that's DH sorted.

beaniescreamyb · 26/10/2008 21:16

some hookers and a speedboat.

ohdearwhatamess · 26/10/2008 21:17

a land rover (but won't be getting one)

bozza · 26/10/2008 21:19

DH says he wants an Orange 5 bike (£2899) but would apparently also be happy with the one northerner's DH is after. Obviously in reality he will get a pair of boxers and a DVD.

stayinbed · 26/10/2008 21:24

is ipod nano / ipod touch still a good gift or is that too 2001?

Leeka · 26/10/2008 21:24

A day at Diggerland. I didn't believe there was such a place but apparently he didn't just dream it, it does exist outside his fantasies!

thatsnotmymonster · 26/10/2008 21:26

A Yeti AS-R carbon bike but seeing as we both have very good bikes already he has NO chance

He also liked Libra1975's suggestion.

So prob MB DVD's and kit and some time to go out biking.

An uninterrupted night and a lie in.

callmeovercautious · 26/10/2008 21:34

DH just said " If anyone was going to crush it after all that work I would want a willing girly to sit on it (the Death Star) after paying that much" I slapped him

I would like time. Time to tidy the house, time to read a good book and time to make myself feel like a woman instead of a Mummy. Failing that I think I may need a good anti wrinkle cream and some good knickers

ToughDaddy · 26/10/2008 21:44

Libra75- gimme the Aston DB9 without naked lesbians.

Antdamm · 26/10/2008 21:47

My DP says he'll have the naked lesbians then

ManxMum · 26/10/2008 21:53

A Job

ToughDaddy · 26/10/2008 21:54

Great; I thought that they would find a home

ledodgy · 26/10/2008 21:54

A shag.

CupidsStunts · 26/10/2008 21:54

even a fucking card would do me.

sweetkitty · 26/10/2008 21:57

Millenium Falcon here too full of little figures he could play with! His Mum gave the one he had as a boy to the charity shop he has never forgiven her.

He is actually getting a Star Wars game for his Wii and a light sabre (sometimes I think he is actually still 12)

bythepowerofgreyskull · 26/10/2008 22:01

DH has just found this on the lego site and says he would like it PLEASE

SalLikesCoffee · 26/10/2008 22:26

Asked dh, who said "peace and quiet" . After the kick he said a good book or dinner at a really nice restaurant. (Oh hell, honestly, we aren't 78.5 years old just yet!)

If it wasn't restricted by gadgets, he'd apparently prefer a PSP Bright.

SalLikesCoffee · 26/10/2008 22:30

Oh for heaven's sake, he's on a roll now. Apparently the following would make his life perfect:

Lego Chess set
One of the new Lego Mindstorms
Lego Millennium Falcon

Reminder to self: Never get dh involved in MN. He gets a bit overexcited...
