We have Tree presents on Christmas day and Boxing day. They are just silly things that only cost £1-£2 each. We have them between our main course and pudding.

Such as a scratch card, a lip balm or one of those flannels that are realy small then open up in water.

This tradition has been passed down from my Grandparents.

Another tradition we have is, we always have Ham and Eggs for breakfast on Christmas Day.

since DD was born 6 years ago we always have a day out in London 3-4 days before Xmas (the nearest Sunday normally), we go to see FC at Selfridges and then we browse Hamleys. We've usually got all her pressies bar one by this time so once we've seen what she's set her heart on in Hamleys we drift down past a few more shops and DH entertains her whilst Mummy "looks in boring clothes shops" and I race back up the road and buy present of dreams from Hamleys. We always get nice food from Selfridges food hall as well and take it home for a posh dinner the next day.

Each child gets a nice tree decoration each year and they go in a special box with their name on it. I hope they will take them with them when they are all grown up and use them on their first Christmas tree in their own home.

Of course they might just burn them because they'll be so old and tacky by then

LOL@ the pink sparkly cowboy hat for when Mummy is drunk!

Hey RupertTheBear! We have ham for breakfast on Christmas Day too but have never come across anyone else who does. Where are you from? It's a tradition from my Dad's side and his grandparents were from Leicestershire (although one great-grandparent might be from Yorkshire). I'd be interested to know.
