teeny things to put in advent calender

I bought one of those wooden ones with small drawers in the january sale.

What can I put in them other than chocolate?
Stickers is all I can think of that will fit.

We have one with pockets. Last year we put choc in and dd flew into a rage when she was told she could only have one every day! Too little to understand then, hopefully this year she'll get it

DH went to Germany on business last November (he is useful sometimes) and managed to get to a Christmas market, where he bought lots of small wooden tree ornaments - we put one in each pocket and had some tasteful branches in a vase for DD to hang them on. Looked great and she really enjoyed it!

lego keyrings - we used to buy them from ebay and use them in party bags.

Oxfam sell those tiny wooden boxes with worry dolls in for about £2. They are extremely cute.

little things a nativity scene, mini playdough pots. Christmas shaped rubbers, bouncy ball and little cars.

Stamps

Last year I found a little soap with a Mr Men toy attached to the top (from Sainsbury's), might be a bit big though. Also a small Thomas TTE bubble bath.

single glitter tubes, stamps (not postage ones), rubbers, wax crayons (one by one), balloons, pencil sharpener, crayons, pencils, mini notebooks (our PO sells them 35p), badges (I find paperchase good for packs of these kinds of things to split up and use), all kinds of stationery (I can see a theme developing), sweets, a letter (like an initial from shop or make your own from salt dough) - one year we had a series which spelt 'happy christmas' and they had loops to put on the tree, reallly bouncy balls, other tiny things they like - thing party bags!
i love doing these!!!
