Although technically I had an extra hour in bed this morning it doesn't feel like it as we had to be up and in the shower by 6am s the plasterer is coming at 8am to do the bathroom ceiling.

I'm struggling with gift buying this year, DGS is 12 and I have no clue what he wants this year. Everyone is fed up with diffusers, scented candles and hampers and although I am on the bargain threads several times a day I've either bought the suggestions in previous years or don't have the right demographic to buy for. My spreadsheet is looking very empty.

Morning!

I also don't feel like we've had an extra hour as we were woken regularly by the bloody wind. It's really bad out there, though it seems to be less constant now. Overnight it was relentless without break. The max speed has dropped by 10mph as well, thankfully.

I'm very tired! 💤

Ooh , Happy Rudolph Day Xmas Grin
I have to schlep off and buy more paint , so I might have a nose about in the Christmas offerings .

I have washing out <hoorah> !

This is the penultimate Rudolph Day , with November 25th being the last one . ( December 25th isn't one )
Goes off to ponder .........

I forgot the date! Xmas Blush

I am going to the pet shop shortly, and I might pop to Wickes next door to get a small slab for our fire pit (smokeless!) to go onto. DH won't let me use it til we have something to put it on!

Our forecast improved rain-wise, so we have washing out and another load on. As it's bedding, it should be dry by the time the next load is ready! There is room for both, but I think rescuing it as soon as it's done is better in this weather!

Happy Rudolph Day Xmas Smile

We (me and DH) had a Christmas focused discussion last night which resulted in us deciding what we’re getting LO from his list, from my list of ideas and which ideas to send to family (they all ask for ideas and he has some specific things he’s marked in the toy catalogue). So now I need to get searching for best prices and ordering.
Wasnt exactly a festive evening but has kick started a bit of Christmas feeling in me because I can fully get started now.

I started the new meds yesterday and feel utterly crap. I feel 10 foot tall and off balance, plus DH keeps telling me I’m swaying a bit when I stand, so that’s fun 🙄
Side effects/them settling should only take a few more days though.

70 & Fluffy I’m jealous of you having washing out. It would be blown away down here I think so mine is on radiators.
