I really struggled with DH’s Christmas gifts this year and he is no help for suggestions. I ended up getting him:

Favourite band tshirt
Mug from his favourite film
Book he wanted
Slippers
Calendar in theme he likes
L’Oréal men’s skincare set (he does use these products)

That’s it unless I see something on Amazon. I don’t know why but I don’t feel great about what I’ve gotten him. We have the same budget for each other.

DP - book about train journeys, book about places to go in London. Portable fire pit and emergency sleeping bag (he likes camping).
A music t shirt. A variety box from Serious Pig.
A thing you use in the wash to put your trainers in.
Chocolate orange, chocolate covered liquorice, jar of Dubai chocolate spread.

Two "experience" things, but I can't recall what they are!

Mug to replace one that is heat reactive, but no longer reacts. This will be his third iteration of the same mug! 😂
Very nice coat from Next.
New rucksack for work as he wants to start cycling some days and needs a backpack rather than the briefcase style he has now.
Good quality water bottle. See above.
Star Wars Lego set.
Star Wars wooden mechanical model thing I found in a Christmas Market in Europe.
PlayStation controller because his has gone wonky.
Cutlery - he bought himself some with a voucher for his birthday in the summer and the DC have lost half of it already 🙄, so I am replacing.

Various little bits and bobs to form a stocking, such as a frame for his degree certificate (graduated this year), chocolate, socks, belt etc.

DeWalt pro jigsaw to replace a less powerful one which ds is eying up. Stocking gifts marzipan fruits, giant Toblerone, Dove for men in new washbag, 2 sweatshirts, jumper, pants, socks, gloves, Waterman pen and rollerball refills, medicine bag with his initial on because he covets mine. A few other small bits I've forgotten as wrapped months ago so will suprise me too.

Theda13 · 19/12/2025 13:25

My DP is getting:

Stocking: A pair of jogging bottoms, Aveeno moisturiser, a hairbrush (because mine is always being stolen) and a body puff.

Main gifts: Calvin Klein underwear and LEGO Polaroid camera.

ElfieOnTheShelfie · 19/12/2025 13:27

A meal booked at that pub of Jeremy clarksons as dd and dh are fans

some bits and bobs for the gym

a hand held roller massage thingy (expensive so hope it works!) as dh has a problem with an old injury

a new jumper (sensible gift)

And truly my best gift: the fact that after 20 years of marriage I can truly say I love him more than i ever have. Which I could not have said ten or five years ago. And I will go on appreciating him for as long as I possibly can ( ie until we start annoying each other again!)

Oasis limited edition vinyl
Tim Minchin vinyl
vinyl box thing which now is not needed as we’ve dedicated a cupboard to the records
Arthouse Unlimited chocolate honeycomb bar
L’Oréal toiletries set
Might get him a last minute Cameo but I think that’s a waste of money (he asked for one)

TheChosenTwo · 19/12/2025 13:31

A whetstone knife sharpening thing for his nice knives, aftershave, a jumper and a couple of books. He’s a boring old bugger and very hard to buy for 😂

HansHolbein · 19/12/2025 13:42

He thinks that the apocalypse (I know) will eventually happen, so, lots of prepping stuff.

Some new wellies.

His favourite chocolate/sweets/shortbread.

ThisLilacShark · 19/12/2025 14:48

I got him:

A year’s gym subscription with access to the locations by his work and our home
Two pairs of Lululemon’s ABC trousers
A Lululemon shirt
A Lululemon polo
Two Charles Tyrwhitt’s cashemire sweaters
A few pairs of nice socks
A stocking with gin, tonic, fancy popcorn, chocolates, biscuits, candy and a fancy Korean spicy sauce

Most of it is very practical, but he has been saying he wanted to get back into the gym and also complaining he needs new clothes so I figured best to get him stuff he’ll actually use.

A Bob Ross mug from Etsy
A hot water bottle that goes round your neck and shoulders
A book on the art of discworld
A secondhand disc would book
A pair of gardening gloves
Box of snacks (chocolate covered pistachios, mushroom Flavoured crisps, some unusual haribo, rose jam - that kind of stuff)

GreyCloudsLooming · 19/12/2025 20:08

Pyjamas and a book.

ToadRage · 19/12/2025 20:11

I got him a Star Wars inspired print that he chose and a mug saying 'I have a spreadsheet for that' (cos he is a huge Excel geek) to go under the tree, for his stocking i have socks saying 'best husband ever', a masonic ritual puzzle book, a mason rubber duck and some chocolate coins.

He was my secret Santa, so I got him a dressing gown. We don’t buy each other gifts generally.

Tisfortired · 19/12/2025 22:58

His main present is Sony wireless headphones. I also got him a band tshirt he wanted that he thought was sold out (it is but I got one!) imported from USA. A book about surgery/medicine in Victorian times. A pair of fluffy crocs, some bits from the Dobby Club website as he loves Peep Show. Finally a Reese’s selection box and some snacks from an international food website.
