Friday 19th, got loads of toil due too so planning on a lunchtime finish if there's no disasters

Supposed to be off til the 5th but I've said I'll do one days OT at some point in that two weeks (in my pyjamas, eating chocolate :))

Tomorrow

I work the 24th until 6pm, then have Christmas Day off, but start again on Boxing Day at 8am. I work in film/TV. This is the busiest time of the year for us.

I'm taking Christmas Eve off as we're travelling to family (5 hours away). I'm working through between Christmas and New Year.

Lunchtime Tuesday 23rd but I'm full time WFH and it’s very quiet now…

24th. I’ve only got the bank holidays off.

Christmas Eve, but wfh so not bad.

I’m a livestock farmer so don’t get any days off. Minimal working on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as long as there are no disasters. Hopefully 2-3 hours each morning then a quick check round at 5pm.
We have family and friends coming for lunch on Christmas Day & Boxing Day so it will be early start for us.

Working 24th night shift. Will finish at 7:30 Christmas morning. I am going to get my free breakfast at the canteen and buy some for the family. Bring it home and have breakfast with a bucks fizz, open presents and then have a few hours sleep before getting up to finish off Christmas dinner. My DH will get it started.

23rd. Can’t fucking wait. I work in the construction industry. Absolutely nothing going on operationally. I just want 2 weeks off now.

Christmas eve, but I have the working days of the New Year week off. I don't celebrate Christmas so I always tell work that if they need to move anyone's Christmas dates (as we do have to ensure some cover) to do mine first. They asked me to move a few days around last year but not this time.

Friday but thats because I booked next week off - everyone did so company is effectively closed. I am working the 29/30/31 then off new years day and the friday that week. Will be really quiet so wont be too onerous!

23rd

Fri 19th and then not back until 5th Jan.

I will have to do some work over the holidays but at least I can do it when I want.

It's been a brutal term in school so I'm looking forward to some down time and being able to breathe again.

I’m working straight through. Christmas Day at 4pm, sleeping at work, working Boxing Day until 10pm.

Mid afternoon on Xmas Eve. Then off til 2nd.

Tomorrow! Finishing on 18th back in (wfh ) on 29th. Most people are off so it will be very quiet, finish at lunchtime on 31st and back in again on 6th.

Not at all this year, emergency services ✌️

But I don't mind, we'll have a nice day Christmas day, we'll cook a Christmas dinner between us and play some games, watch a few festive movies, do a quiz, bingo. We keep the festive spirit alive!
