These are very silly games and I’m not sure if they’re appropriate to your family or not, but for us they cross the generations quite well…
the chocolate mint game - a wafer mint is placed on the player’s forehead and they have to get it in their mouths without using their hands - so relying on head and facial
movements - you’re more likely to end up with a face covered in chocolate than a mint in your mouth, but it is amusing.
the jelly bean game - you buy a set online of jelly beans where half taste nice and half are disgusting flavours and there’s a game you play (can’t remember the details
it comes with the set), but it’s basically just a silly game that involves being amused when someone else has to eat a disgusting flavour bean and their reactions.
double ditto - a game where there is a card and people have to give three suggestions for, e.g., things teenagers do, or jobs where you get dirty, but the points are awarded for getting the same as other people at the table so you’re trying to work out what others would say more than ‘right’
answers. (We skip the really American cards as they don’t provoke answers and conversation in our family.)
sussed - a card game with a question for the player and three options for answers - the rest of the team have to guess the answer they have given - e.g., would they rather ride a camel, ride an elephant or swim with dolphins.
the post it game - sure you'll know this, but a name on a post it, stuck on someone’s forehead and they have to guess who they are by asking questions.
we also sometimes play Mr and Mrs with teams - couples where they exist, but otherwise just people who know each other well like siblings. Obviously some questions don’t work and have to be skipped, but quite a few can be applied to close friends / siblings and it definitely provokes conversation.
not the most sophisticated games, but quite amusing and good for a variety of ages.
