I absolutely cannot wait to see DS6 & DS9 open their main gifts from us. DS6 is getting a space-themed indoor Wendy House & DS9 will be getting a Switch 2. They will both be so thrilled and so surprised!!

What about you?

It’s a regular hospital shift: 7am until 9.30 pm, but usually half an hour late finishing.
I should think it’s similar in other hospitals.

I couldn’t do that 5 days a week! I’d expire!

Of course the Christmas-eve to Christmas day period (evening to morning) is always my favorite.. but what I most look forward to is the small moments in between the chaos. I'm sure there will be some nice loving moments with my son/partner/parents, just small intimate times, in between the noise and bustle and business, and those will be the times when it really feels Christmassy.

It’s three days a week for full time: that’s the good part!

Not being in work. I stop on Thursday. Can’t wait. Lying in bed and reading in the mornings. Pottering. DS1 getting his presents.

That makes it better, but still, definitely going to feel the benefit of switching off after that last shift!

Boarding the plane with DH on 23rd and landing Christmas Eve night and then 2 weeks in the sun doing nothing! Bliss.
