Light inexpensive cologne for 11 year old?

DS11 is desperate for cologne, I know nothing about this and don’t have much sense of smell to check them out in a shop!
Any recommendations? I’m thinking something fresh/light that he can just spritz on for parties/going to dinner so he feels grown up.

I like Anais Anais at that age, you can still buy it and it’s not expensive.

My DS started out with Code Red from Next. I would say it’s quite fresh, sporty and light. You can buy a little stocking filler sized bottle for about £10.
