For a few years now for family adults we have been doing gifts of around £10-£15 each, which are supposed to be not wasteful/locally sourced type stuff.
I am struggling for ideas this year, and also short of time.
In the past have done, locally produced food items, home made liquor, charity socks, afternoon tea mini hamper, gin miniatures with paired tonics.

Any ideas?! Could just go to the farm shop and getting it all done but feeling bored of this idea by now after doing it a few times.

Any local craft markets? Lots of inspiration there.

Books!! Align with their hobbies ie cookbook, architecture book, poetry, thriller etc.

Arts and crafts - a set of crochet needles and wool or a paint by numbers kit

Handmade candles in scents to “match” their personality

Nice socks

Playing cards- V&A do lovely designed sets

You can make a printable family calendar with family members' birthdays, anniversaries, etc. If you have pictures of them and their pets (if they have any) adding those would be nice too. Not many people use calendars these days though, but the one with photos would make a sentimental and thoughtful gift either way imo.

Every year I make a large batch of candied pecans and give bags to friends and neighbours. They are delicious and easy to make - I’ve been asked the recipe by many recipients. Would this fit the bill or is it not local enough?
