Toy ideas for baby who's only obsessed with books!

My baby will be 9 months old at Christmas. We aren't buying her too much as she's so young, but we've got her some new books, flash cards, and a little doll.
However, family and friends etc keep asking us what they can buy, and the only interest she has is books. She is book obsessed!
We already have SO many, and we also have a weekly trip to the library.

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on toys that might interest a baby who loves books, that aren't books themselves 😅. Maybe your baby has been the same and you have some suggestions?
I would love to find her some toys she's interested in!

TIA

Yes this is exactly why I made this post. She loves books and I want to get her other things that will support that, without actually being books if that makes sense, just because we have so many already!
We actually have a few of the puppet co stuff and she absolutely loves them - I've got my eye on the Elephant for her for Christmas, and one of my friends mentioned Sleich animals so I'll take a look at those too.

I love you asked this. Ours is the same but a year older and sadly we dont have the money so have to be very choosy. I've already copied and pasted some idea from here. So from me to you thankyou! I wouldn't brave my own post.🫣.
For us book characters are always a win for cuddly toys linked to them. Even if its just she particularly liked a monkey. It doesnt have to be that monkey but a monkey plush went down a treat. Also I don't know if you have room but one of those collapsed mini circus style tents for a reading nooks. Taking her toys and books under there.
At your age we also got a cushion with all her favorite people on(those photo ones). She was starting to no who mimi, dad, aunts uncles and gran-grsn were and loved seeing them. She still loves that cushion now and will go and do a registers of us all over and over with it when we sit on her bed. Living far away from my brother it also helped keep him near and could tell stories with him in(related to the facetime calls too)

What about busy books? Or the books that are little puzzles / jigsaws?

Your cushion reminded me that we had a photobook for my daughter at that age with all the important people in her life. We ordered two copies so we could let her handle one herself and risk getting it messed up.

This is a lovely idea I think I’ll be stealing this for her birthday!!

A set of stacking cups, so many uses. Bang together, build towers and knock over, play with in the bath, sandpit etc. We got so much use out of ours when kids were little.

I would suggest reading through the play schemas and seeing if you can match her behaviour to a schema (there might be something other than looking at books that she does -- moving the books around or lining them up, for example). Then look at toys that match that schema.

This has been so helpful. I've just had a quickly glance and I can definitely see two that she'd fall into with her interests, so I'll have a proper read this evening. Thank you!
