Little tree for an elderly relative

Elderly relative doesn't want a Christmas tree up going forward as it takes up too much space in the room but I'd really like to get her something little to add a bit of prettiness and sparkle over December.

Has anyone seen a little tree for sale anywhere that is cute, that sits on a table and isn't too big (1 foot max) and not too small (ie not 3 inches) that might appeal to a lovely older lady-ie looks like a tree, with some light up twinkling, but not made of glass/plastic and not too garish?

Bloom and wild have a few little trees that are pretty and get sent through the post.

Yes, saw some lovely tabletop Christmas trees in Marks and Spencer’s yesterday. With lights and little decorations. Just ready to display.

Also recommend Bloom and Wild, already mentioned.

The Bloom & Wild mini trees might do? I’ve sent them a couple of years and been happy with them. They come with lights/decs; you can pick a theme.

Ha, cross post with everyone else 🎄

Asda have this one if they would prefer an artificial one.

Most of the supermarkets will have small table top trees at some point in December. They often come with battery operated micro lights and a handful of decorations.

Am I alone in thinking that it is disrespectful to get a tree when your relative has said they do not want one. I am at the age where I don’t want any clutter. I don’t even put the cards up.

Please rethink whether what you are doing is kind or projecting your owe desires onto your relative.

She didn't have the space to put up her usual big one, not that she doesn't want a tree at all-she was hoping for a really small one but we couldn't find a nice one.

Thank you everyone-the M+S one looks like it fits the bill!

Christmas Tree GIF by Eva Cremers

I usually get a small tree from the market, which is a little real tree with some artificial snow on it, sometimes a few baubles. the base is wrapped in hessian. I pop them on mum and dad's grave along with their cross or wreath. after you can plant the tree too.
