Black Christmas tree

We usually get a real tree at Christmas but thinking of getting a fake black tree this year. Budget around £100 and 6ft in height. Can anyone recommend or have seen a nice black tree.

Blimey.

The world is batshit, get whatever tree you like op. It’s not my thing (I’m not racist towards trees).

I have a 3 foot black Christmas tree and it looked great with all the decorations & lights on it.I got it from Tesco years and years ago. I changed it a couple of years back and bought a snowy pine instead which I also love. I still have the black tree in the loft just in case I change my mind again 😎 If I had room I'd put both up🎄

What a very bizarre thread hijack.
Someone clearly has issues.

Now that's a phrase I never thought I'd read.

That looks green?

Just checking back in thanks for the links and replies even if the thread did take a bit of a weird turn.

I had a black Christmas tree years ago and it was really lovely, just fancy a change this year. I would use my existing decorations.

Back to the OPs question.

Our Christmas tree is black, pre lit with warm white lights. It was an Argos sale purchase some years ago, we have random coloured baubles that are 30 years old this year, so it might not please those who insist on tasteful themes or keeping up with fashions but I like it.

There are a few here:

Black trees are not my thing but I have seen some very stylish black trees in previous years. I’m more of a real tree with every decoration of every colour, especially old pieces the DC made or which came from the DGPs - mine is a tat tree by MN style standards 😂

You should have whatever makes you happy but I would go and see them in the flesh before buying, not just for colour but to see the quality of the branches.

Sounds lovely. Will have a look on Argos, I always forget about Argos now the kids are older.

Will check this link out, thanks. Yeah I don't follow trends... love my tree of memories and glad you do too.

I've just ordered a black pre lit tree from Robert Dyers, we had a black one before this too they look great.

Zov · 08/11/2025 22:21

Sounds hideous. 😬

Itsbritneyb1tch · 08/11/2025 22:26

We had a black tree for many years and they do honestly look great. They look really glossy and shiny next to the fairy lights and great with silver/white/crystal dominant decorations

ChimpanzeeThatMonkeyNews · 08/11/2025 23:28

I had a black tree, and it looked great.
