Advent calendars for teenage boys

Hi, I have 3 DS (age 17, 16, & 3), and I am stuck on advent calendars for the older 2. I don’t have time to source individual items to make them one each, so looking for recommendations for the ready made ones.

They had Lynx ones last year which I could buy again if it comes to it, but I would prefer to get different ones this year.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

DS17 works out at the gym every day and DS15 has just signed up too so this year we've got them My Protein calendars.

Was just going to post that for boys into fitness or the gym, the My Protein calendar is a good shout. Also the Funko Pops ones are popular.

Last year I got the teens a normal sweet one (haribos for DS as he’s diary free) and a Christmas Lego set and we had a family night setting it up with a fakeaway. They really enjoyed that so we have that Lego set to do again this year and I may get another one to add on… for less than a calendar for other teens would cost!!!

Puzzles are great, and things relating to their interests... But a lot of the other stuff I can't see being preferable to chocolate. Do teenage boys really want lynx more than a nice chocolate?

Came across this thread in search of inspiration and thought I’d suggest the Porsche advent calendar. You build a little model 911 piece by piece, engine makes noise by the end of it. My son really enjoyed it. Ordered from eBay, I shopped around to find the cheapest one on offer.

wtf has happened to advent calendars?! Socks? Jewellery? Escape rooms?!!! Porsches?!

@pontivex Re the Porsche it’s obviously a little matchbox type car so not too extravagant in itself. I agree with you in principle, as especially make up calendars can truly be over the top, but I suppose traditions evolve? When I grew up advent calendars just had pictures behind each door but today it seems the calendar is sometimes a big present in itself

DS12 asked for a dnd dice calendar. I found one on Amazon, hopefully it will be fine (the problem with advent calendars being you can't tell until you open them!)

Mine just love the chocolate ones. Have upgraded a bit as they’re older (not that much though).

Home Bargains have a Walkers crisps and snack one for £10.

My son just likes chocolate ones. I think he would be disappointed if there was something different in it! I often get him a Lindt one.

Mine are 20 and 14, they usually get a Lindt one but DS1’s Uni flat is really hot and it melted last year so I’ve got him a Squashies (as in the sweets!) one and DS2 a Haribo one from B&M.
