Has anyone seen any nice Capybara themed gifts in the shops for a pre-teen girl please?
I think I’ve seen most stuff online.

Already has teddies, stationery, colouring books x

DS has this and still loves it at 13!

My DH bought me (and him) a capybara experience at local zoo which was bloody brilliant - if you have somewhere local to you so recommend

I got some super cheap bits from Amazon haul - stickers, metal badges, a little sanitary towel pouch and a tote bag. All very cute.

Jellycats are usually a hit

Are Capybaras the new Llama/Sloth/Avocado craze?

Who decides these things?

Why are they all South American?

They do look like David Walliams -same eyes and dour mouth .
But I am sure they are lovely as they're the behemoth form of guinea-pig. And guinea-pigs are the loveliest animals on earth .

I stroked a capybara once on a zoo keeper for the day experience. I can confirm they are indeed like giant guinea pigs, lovely and gentle. I’m glad there’s a merch craze in their honour 😁

Dunelm has some nice bits, blankets, oodies and also a capybara rug :)

HMV have gorgeous cuddly ones in their plushies section at the moment. They are about £15.

And I appreciate many do not want to use this site for ethical reasons, but I do know that Temu have fuck loads of capybabr stationery items that are (as you would expect) very cheap.

Oh god I can’t unsee that now

How cute they are as babies Grin they're called "pups" same as guinea-pigs but I reckon guineas are "piglets" which is nicer .

They do look very much like my DDs first piggie when she was 9yo . We got a large agouti boar and his smaller jet black brother .

Goodness knows how much capybaras eat , 'cos I was buying massive bags of hay for the piggies ( and Massive Salads , obvs )

Havent RTFT and I know you want physical stuff but our zoo does zoo experiences.

Might be worth seeing if you can do a capybara one if she loves them? It can be pretty magical. We saw two girls feeding red pandas at the zoo and it was TOO cute

Not sure if it's been said but Amazon Haul has a lot, I bought some teddy keyring / purse pals and some stickers too

Royal zoological society of Scotland have just appeared on my FB with a good selection

I know you said not teddies but they mentioned some weighed teddies called hug a lumps reduced to £11.25 on amazon and there's a Capybara one. My dds are a bit older but love a cuddly toy or weighted blanket for pms pains so I'm sure are going to go down well for Christmas this year.
