What's your plan tonight and tomorrow?

Curious to know what everyone's up to!
I'm off to the local pub with one of my friends as her DH is looking after the kids, so she's got a night off and we can finally catch up!

Tonight clean the house which is why I'm on musnet procrastinating. Tomorrow morning baking with the kids then the pub for a few hours then Christmas movie (probably elf) and a takeaway usually Chinese then hot chocolate with squirty cream and marshmallows and the kids are allowed to open one present each then we put bits out for santa and the reindeer then it's bed and Christmas stories. Then me and partner have a few more drinks, watch some telly and then drag the kids presents downstairs

Quiet evening here, tomorrow heading into town to see Christmas market, cocktails and then late lunch before heading home and Into Christmas pjs and then Christmas movie

DH and DS have decided to start wrapping their presents

Spent the afternoon cleaning and dog went to the groomers. Exchanged presents with DP and had a McDonald’s and watching Christmas specials.

tomorrow dp playing golf all day so gonna have a lazy morning with coffee and snacks on the sofa with the dog and watch some terrible Christmas film. I might do a workout but probably won’t! Late afternoon I’m driving with the dog to my parents a couple of hours away. DP will come Christmas Day.

It's not bizarre, it's nice. Everyone on mn is a random stranger up and down the UK (and other parts of the world), sharing information, stories, and after advice. Why are you on here? Is it because you're interested in strangers up and down the UK? 🤔 .

Tonight recovering from shopping, tomorrow make mince pies and stollen and wrap remaining presents.

No kids here and spending Christmas Day at my brother’s so very little to do. Gifts for family already wrapped and I am in charge of drinks (vs. any cooking) so already bought.

It’s been a busy year at work so I am glad to have downed tools. I’ve also been run down with various bugs the last few weeks and finally well again, so am planning a morning trip to the gym (first time in months) and then want to work through some life admin. Not very christmassy compared to all the lovely plans on here but I will feel good to have done it!

Had some family over earlier for tea and fancy biscuits 😋

The Christmas shopping was delivered early eve and I paid the kids in Heroes and Quality Street for bringing it all in and helping to unpack.

When they are in bed I have some more wrapping to do, pairing that with some wine and Father Ted Christmas special. Originally aired Christmas eve 1996 apparently 😲

Tonight its just a chilled one kids early to bed may watch die hard 2 or love actually.
Tomorrow last couple pressies to wrap , early morning dog walk and then off bowling with dh and kids. We have friends coming late afternoon for takeaway .

This morning I prepped the spare bedroom for a guest who has now arrived, and did some admin and some cleaning. In the afternoon I went to a candlelit carol service in a tiny local church, right out in the middle of fields, with two of the (adult) DC, which was absolutely lovely - we saw lots of people we know and stayed to chat and enjoy the refreshments afterwards. Tomorrow morning I'll collect the meat from the butcher, cook the gammon and prep a few things, and in the afternoon I'll walk the dogs quite early and then take our guest and another of the DC to a carol service in another church.

Our daughter and her husband are in town for the holiday (we're in the U.S., they live 1000 miles away.) Daughter is a hair stylist so came to give hai, rcuts and make the cheesecake for Christmas. I've done other odds and ends. Tonight it's football for my dh and I'll stitch while it's on.

Tomorrow is our quiet day, all the kids, partners, and grandkids will be here on Wednesday. Tomorrow we'll watch Christmas movies, have snacks, and a steak and shrimp dinner. I'll also need to move some things to accommodate everyone on Wednesday.

We're a bit in limbo, one DiL is a doula and has a client due any day. We are too far away for their family to come if the client hasn't delivered, so Wednesday we number either 15 or 21, we may not know for sure until tomorrow night.
