I just found a Christmas cake I made last year and apparently totally forgot about 🙈😂 it was wrapped in greaseproof paper then in foil, stored in a tightly sealed tin. It looks fine, smells nice, no sign of mould or anything. I definitely added some alcohol to it at the time but not loads and the I think I was unwell the weekend before Christmas, didn't get round to icing it and totally forgot it existed until I went hunting for my Christmas tins today!
So.... Will my Christmas cake still be edible or will I give myself horrific food poisoning if I eat it? 🙈😂
