Transporting christmas dinner the day before?

Staying with a relative with a tiny double oven and no fridge or freezer space. I have a small stuffed breast to roast and will take potatoes as parsnips with us to roast on the day as well as Brussels sprouts. If I made braised cabbage ahead of time could I keep it in a freezer box overnight or should I freeze it and let it defrost overnight (we are going up Xmas eve morning) could I mash swede and carrot ahead of time and freeze it? We will be four. Any other ideas on semi preparing and transporting Xmas lunch?

Roast the breast beforehand and slice it. Reheat with gravy poured over in the oven. My neighbour used to do prep her entire Christmas dinner 2 weeks beforehand and freeze all the component parts (including the turkey slices)

The pits and parsnips don't need a fridge. The cabbage, too. You can prep it there and bring a slow cooker to put it in.
Freeze the breast in advance and put it in a cool box. It'll defrost slowly over 24 hours.
