Couples present for difficult couple!

Hi everyone. I’m at a complete loss of what to get for my brother and his wife. I’ve already spent a lot of money on their two kids (10 and 3) so was hoping to do a combined present for them. The tricky thing is they live in Italy and we’ll be doing Christmas in the uk at our parent, so things like experiences don’t really work, and also everything has to be portable so heavy items or hampers or wine etc don’t really work either. They’re 39 and 46, honestly dont have a lot of hobbies, they run their own business out in Italy so they don’t have a lot of free time and what they do have is spent out with the kids. Budget ideally around £40. Any great ideas?!

I'd just say - we're planning on taking you out for afternoon tea (or something) next time you visit! They're adults, they will cope!

I live in Italy and always go to UK with hand luggage, so cannot bring heavy gifts back to Italy with me. In the past I have been given nice warm Nordic style socks, a voucher to do something while I'm in UK or to use for my next visit, but most of the time my family have treated to a meal, a nice breakfast out or afternoon tea somewhere. I've also had cash and jewellery in the past. Something I never get but would like are some nice British biscuits!

If you have a family group chat could you message and say we have gifts for the kids but could we take you out for breakfast on Boxing Day (or whenever) in lieu of a gift so you don't have to carry it back?
Then in the new year say please can we stop buying gifts for adults!
