Light bridges

I have a light bridge I bought about 15 years ago and put it out every Christmas. This year however I have noticed no other houses that have their lights and Christmas decorations up have a light bridge (you know, the Swedish ones with 7 candles). Would anyone know if these are becoming old fashioned and less popular? I’m not sure if it will stop me putting mine up because I really like it but just want to be in the know, if I’m showing my “outdatedness” 😅

I have 4 up in my house. I love them.

Good to know I’m not the only one then.

I love them too and now regret getting rid of ours years ago. You don’t tend to see many of them nowadays, but that’s not a bad thing.

I have one here. We've had it since the mid 90s and it's still going strong. I don't often see them around. Shame because i think they're a beautiful decoration.

I've seen a few in windows, they're lovely! I have one but I don't bring it out every Christmas, just now and again. Only because I have so much Christmas stuff, it has to take turns

I've just got round to buying one! It gives a nice glow and I really like it.

They're called "advent candlesticks". They go up on the first Sunday of advent and come down on 13 January. There are a lot of them in Sweden, even in offices . Always in the window, never anywhere else.

I like them, I don't see them as dated.
