So far I have I'm doing a stocking -
-Book
-Aveda conditioner
-Make up that she uses
-Fancy baubles
-Pocket diary
-Socks
-Clarins hand cream
-Scratchcards/lotto ticket
-Crossword book

Any other stocking filler ideas?

I'm a bit stuck wondering what else to get. She likes a food, eating out and cooking, has a sweet tooth. She doesn't have much money and is on a tight budget, doesn't spend alot on herself. Also likes gardening.
I had thought about buying a heated throw but not sure if they're worth it but then she's always saying she doesn't put the heating on to save money and can't see how it's any different to wearing a dressing gown.

Main gifts ideas-

  • New hairdryer (hers is on the blink)
  • Voucher for hairdressers
  • Voucher for restaurant

I would imagine that what she would want most is some special time with you, so alongside the lovely gift you've got her, maybe some tickets to something you can see together, IOU afternoon tea, Chelsea flower show - whatever it is that would float her boat.

What a kind DD you are.
Would she use an Oodie if she's wary about using electric or just a Sherpa blanket?

Agree your time is the best gift

My mum asked for a leather gardening belt last year and this one went down really well https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BF4ZQKW4

Agree about visiting a garden together. Depending where you are we took Mum to Chelsea Physic Garden in London, which is smaller and a bit different than the bigger gardens but also meant I could afford the tickets!! But we are local so no costs to get there/stay. www.chelseaphysicgarden.co.uk/

Have also read Sarah Raven's garden mentioned on here (East Sussex)

What lovely gifts.
You sound like a lovely daughter.
I think a heated throw would be fab for her if she's careful about the cost of putting on the heating.

I was sceptical about heated throws but received one as a gift last year and love it.
