Giving scheme - 16 year old girl, HELP!

We have a giving scheme at work...buy a gift/gifts for a child, unwrapped in a gift bag. Value about £20/£25.

I've done it every single year for a decade and have always been able to choose the child's age and sex...so I've always chosen 3-5yr boys who are ridiculously easy to buy for (I have 3 ds's).

This year they've randomly assigned instead and I have a 16 year old girl. Zero other info.

I have absolutely no idea what to buy for the best...how on earth do you guess at what they may like? Any help would be really appreciated 🙏

That's amazing , any 16 yrs old would be thrilled to receive that .

Wrap all the items up individually so that the girl has a lot of things to open - more exciting than getting them unwrapped in a stocking or gift bag.

Lovely

All that stuff is amazing! My DSD is older but she would love all of that! Well done!

Maybe a soap and glory set from Boots and and a pack of Adidas or Nike ankle socks

Soap and glory sets were always the thing me and my siblings used to chuckle over. There's always the token soap and glory set or lynx africa set. It's a standard 'at least I got you something' present.

Soap and glory absolutely isn't cool for a 16 year old girl.

I'd do @Muchtoomuchtodo's suggestions OP. What a nice thing to do btw!

Ah ok. I wrote this before I saw that brands weren’t allowed.

Also to add...they suggest no gift cards and nothing that's 'branded' if possible - basically nothing that parents can re-sell which is bloody awful to think about.

Oh that is sad

Some basic skin bits that wouldn't have any resale value, like Simple etc. Bobbles, hairbrush, a long hot water bottle, chocolate, sweets, sheet face mask, cute pens (my daughter likes the leopard print or rose gold biro type ones in asda). Bed socks or slippers. White sport socks (primark do them). Carmex.
