A few yrs MNs introduced me to Tracklements onion marmalade & quince jelly. My favourite cheese is black bomber. What other cheeses, relish’s, crackers do you ladies recommend?

Crackers, faves are the rosemary/black pepper ones from Tesco or lidl.

Drivers mini pickled onions.

Cheeses well it all depends. Partial to:
Shropshire blue.
Cornish Yarg.
Worcestershire Hop.
Harlech.

You're right about Black Bomber, it is the dog's.

I love Wensleydale with apricot.
For a white-rinded cheese, either Castello extra creamy Brie is the best or if you want something stronger, Pié d'Angloys.

Red Storm ( hyper-mature red Leicester) is wonderful.

If you want a flavoured cheddar, see if you can get one with ginger, very festive!

My current favourite cheddar is Montgomery

The Toast crackers come in various flavours and are usually brilliant with blue or brie/camembert type cheeses

If you can find a proper cheesemonger, Honeybee (honey infused goats cheese) is lovely. There's also a red one with fennel seeds called something rosso, but annoyingly I can't find exact name online!

Anything by the Long Clawson dairy will be good

Orkney store

Orkney has some amazing cheeses, the cocktail oatcakes are fabulous and their chutneys are also delicious. All locally sourced products and you would be supporting their economy too.

Hubby is from Orkney and I get a huge selection sent down every year now- their flaky biscuits are fab too. Oh and their sweeter biscuits are also yummy.

Baron Bigod! It's a cheeseboard must.

I usually aim for 7 cheeses for a cheeseboard (partly because otherwise I'd buy every cheese in the shop, and partly because I used to work in a French catering school, where cheeseboard 'rules' were strictly enforced):

2 hard cows' milk (vintage Cheddar or Gouda are favourites)
1 soft goats' milk
1 soft-rinsed cows' milk (Brie is popular but NeufchĂ¢tel is also great)
1 blue
1 semi-hard goat or sheep milk (e.g. Manchego)
1 mild, inoffensive thing for people who don't really like cheese

I don't like fancy flavoured crackers because I find the taste can overpower the cheese). My go to is Carr's water biscuits and baguette (we get the ones you buy to bake at home).
