The Box of Delights is a classic children’s book by John Masefield. The BBC did a six-parter of it in 1984. I have it on dvd but they are re-showing it this year and it is on the iplayer.

Shall we fill this one? I’ve been awake since 5 with the to-do list whirling round my head so I gave up around 6 and came downstairs to do wordle and stuff, cup of tea, etc. don’t want to actually start the list because I’d hate to wake everyone up, but I can dump it from my brain into a notebook which will hopefully help

I did buy a new journal to make a list in but may have missed the nice quietly anticipating phase as we are well into the lots ro do right now phase.

I like it when the shopping is over and we're in the manage with what we have in phase.

I didn't buy a journal in the end, but decorated a notebook with Christmas stickers. The daft cat who likes to sit on paper and books is often to be seen now strolling down the hallway with a snowflake sticker or two stuck on his fluffy backside!
