Main present for 3 year old

I have lots of stocking fillers and little things for my 3 year old daughter, but really struggling to think of a "wow"/big gift. She is my youngest so we already have lots of everything. She's not into baby doll play. Likes toy animals and very active play. We already have bike, scooter, toy kitchen, tool bench, farm set, magnetic tiles, dolls house, large slide and swing in garden. Looking for some inspiration and idea of anything that your 3-4 year old boy or girl has really loved? Or things that are less common, that older siblings don't already have.

Yoto or Tonie?

supertaytoes · 30/10/2024 16:38

Our Tonie box was a big hit for DS when he turned 3 last year. I think the Yoto is good as well, considering getting a mini for travel as the Tonie is great but a bit bulky for car journeys.

Hot wheels garage

Does she need a main present? Only asking as we’ve not really done a main present for ours yet (3 and 5). Tbh I think the eldest is more quantity over quality anyway at this stage so more smaller bits and boobs!

My 3 year old wants one of those instant print cameras (shaped like a unicorn and shatterproof!).

Like you we have most of the 'big' stuff but other things I'm considering are a wooden puppet theatre with some animal puppets or a trampoline.

Trying to remember what I got for my youngest dd, youngest of 3. I think at 3 I didn’t get her anything big as such, I mainly got her new bath toys, new lunch boxs and bag for nursery, soft toy, I managed to get her a peppa pig tricycle from a charity shop just before Christmas and a few other cheap charity shop toys that I didn’t mind if they broke quickly. As she’s got older (7 now) I got rid of some of the bigger toys and replaced them with new ones for her so they are just hers as she’s become more aware that certain toys are “her sisters” rather than just hers. When doing clear outs I always made sure to keep just enough, we have 3 our generation dolls that I kept, one for each girl, but DD said she knew none were just hers so I’ve got her own DesignaFriends doll this year and we will donate one of the others after Christmas.

Some ideas:
Lego/duplo
Castle playset
Mud kitchen
Wooden play shop and cafe (great little trading do different sets to go with it like a post office)
Melissa and Doug vet centre
Water table or sand table for outside

Thank you. Some good ideas that we don't have and I hadn't thought of for me to look in to.
I'm torn between disgust at the amount of toys we already have (so don't need more) and feeling bad for DD cause she doesn't have much of her very own. I not sure if she will be aware that she doesn't have a big present or not.She probably wouldn't.

We got our 3 year old DD an electric vespa (motorbike).

The electric ride ons seems quite popular this Christmas
