Chocolates that sparkle like jewels?

Now that Quality Street has abandoned their last remaining redeeming quality and have dull paper wrappings, are there any Christmas chocolates out there that still sparkle like jewels in the lights from the Christmas tree?

happy for it to be recyclable foil rather than plastic, but i want a tin of glittering gems, not newspaper. I miss that part of Christmas! Has anyone spotted something which fills this niche?

I buy assorted Lindt balls as they look really pretty and taste amazing - the white chocolate and strawberry ones are my favourite.

I agree about Quality Street. I do actually prefer the sweets to Roses as I like dark chocolate so the orange and strawberry ones are my faves in there, but by changing the wrappers they’ve not only lost their sparkle but also the squeaky sound and distinctive smell that the cellophane had. Also the opportunity to use the wrappers with little kids to make stained glass windows. What a loss!

Pick and mix Lindt balls have colourful and shiny wrapping on the website

I got a tin of Lindt last year, there were assorted balls, mini reindeer and teddies and a bigger Father Christmas. And the tin, not a nasty plastic box, has become my cake tin.

You can buy sweet foils and reward chocolates or sweets that you like.

Oh Lindt Lindor are so pretty!
The pistachio ones and the tiramisu ones are also utterly delicious.

I'm sure I remember Aldi having their own brand chocolates at Christmas a year or two ago that were very similar to Quality Street but still in the foil wrappers.

Lindt balls. You can order pick and mix from them online. All different coloured shiny foil balls. And delicious. They are DC's favourites.

Ooh where did you get the tin from? I order online but they come in a white box. The tin sounds prettier.

They also don't crumple up well enough for the cats to play with.

M&S Big Mix was a good dupe for Quality Street and is available from Ocado, but oddly doesn't seem to be on the M&S website which makes me think they've been discontinued.

@Autumnweddingguest - there's an amazing Lindt shop at resorts world near Birmingham airport if you're local to there.

Otherwise, go online and have a look....they also pick and mix advent calendars....

Lindors are quite shiny. Expensive for a small tin but the lindt shop usually has black Friday sales

@thesunisastar I saw a box of those in store at M&S on Monday, so they’re still around this year.
