Best present you've ever brought for your 3 year old?

Can anyone tell me the best presents you have bought for your 3 year old? I am at a loss as to what to get my daughter for Christmas (she will be 3 in February), and I'm trying to be organised this year. She isn't into any particular TV shows so anything character related isn't something I can get! Was thinking of a Tonie box but not sure if she's a bit young to really use it.

What's been a hit for your kids?

At two almost three, imagination and pretend was all. We had vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, brooms and dusters, play house with baby and cot, mini kitchen (does not need to be a fancy wooden one), a theatre/ticket office was great. Puppet theatre once they were older, but when a toddler was a ticket office to buy tickets, pay for them, get change and tickets. So much fun counting!
Drawing and mark making toys; TBH the branded ones were a bit limiting.

Magnetic tiles/ Magformers are great for longevity - DD still plays with them aged 7.

My grandson (almost 3) absolutely loves these.

My DD is exactly the same age and has a Yoto. She can kind of use it and does like it however I think the tonie is less fiddly. We knew this when we brought the Yoto but brought it with future in mind

So the year ours were 3 (they're now 15) was the first year they really took notice of the Father Christmas stuff and the festivities so think about getting your story solid and any traditions you want to start!

We started that year with "the early sack" - would appear magically under the tree on Christmas Eve. Supposedly only came for good children but it came every year for ours 🤣 Contains new PJs, things like slippers, dressing gowns, hot chocolate, etc plus always a Christmas book for before bed and most importantly a Christmas film we all sit down to watch together.

There have been various hits and various misses but the film we got that first year remains the biggest hit with kids & adults alike and we rewatch every year - Arthur Christmas.

Marble run! Initially one of the Galt standard plastic ones which by the time Ds was 3.5/4 evolved into the vtech ones with fancy electric bits and now at 6 include 4 expansion packs and another asked for for Xmas (have yet to decide if I'll allow it yes, everytime I walk into a room a bloody marble rolls from somewhere across the floor! Going to move up to gravitrax when he's older, it's been a really consistent hit.

Other things that have stood the test of time are train tracks and car tracks (the ones from Smyth's that are surprisingly cheap).

The Leapfrog Ice cream cart was a huge hit years ago with Dd for her 3rd birthday, just before Christmas. Dc4 still played with it until it got left out in the rain last year, lasted 5 years and played with a lot. The barbecue was also very much loved too.

Duplo is great, mine also loved anything dolly related or Melissa & Doug dress up sets like the vet one.

Another lovely set is the Le Toy Van wooden doctors kit. Comes with the lovely red bag. Not cheap but great quality and lasts. I’m hoping to get the barbers set also this year for mine.

Haven’t read but mine liked:
sylvanian families (not too many)
kitchen and wooden food
playmobil

All lasted years and years of play.

Ikea wind up torch or Ikea folding gym mat

Definitely a balance bike - make sure it has an adjustable seat & a brake - DDs were short & a lot of the pretty wooden versions were way too big for them.
Clever Cogs (available from Hamleys) - DD1 is 18 & they're still on our fridge & played with regularly. They're strangely pleasing to rearrange & set going

Toy kitchen or an easel
