Hi guys I need your help!
I need ideas for my grandmother for Xmas, she doesn't really have any hobbies. Her birthday is near Xmas so her "main" present for her birthday is an experience so don't want another one. I spend a lot of time with her so would actually like to give her a physical gift not "spend time". Thanks in advance

How independent is she? How is her sight? What's your budget? A good book to read, Puzzle books, a nice wool lap blanket, leather gloves, voucher to her favourite cafe or restaurant, a framed photo of the two of you, Digital photo frame loaded with family pictures, get hold of old photos from her childhood or her wedding, get a favourite recoloured if needed and frame it.

The obvious question is how old is she? There's a world of different between what someone in their 60s would like compared to someone approaching 100.

Are you sure she wants stuff?

Honestly I have enough and generally buy what I want. I love been taken out for a meal and half bottles of wine/port/sherry/rum make me happy.

Sorry! Should have included that budget is £20-50 she can't see out of one eye long distance (cataract) she's really independent

Yeah she doesn't like being spoilt meal wise and she doesn't drink has a lot of allergies so food gifts out!

Does she have a garden?

-Bird feeder and/or bird bath. If no garden, a window feeder like the pic.
-Photo book of the family
-Gold leaf, leather garden gloves and good secateurs

My mum is this age and loves things like theatre tokens, fancy wine, fancy chocolates, tickets to talks she is interested in etc. I know you said no more experiences, but maybe a ticket to a talk somewhere like the Royal Institute, and a small physical item too? Like a little box of chocolates from somewhere like Artisan du Chocolate?

I'm planning on buying a handbag and maybe some theatre tickets as @AllTheChaos suggested
