Elf sweet cones?

I am fundraising for my son’s footie team and we have booked two tables at a local car boot sale (in a hall) for 23rd November. I was thinking of doing some sweet cones to boost sales- and making them elf on the shelf themed to attract people to buy…

id like to do a chocolate based one and a jelly based one as my son is dairy free and mixed cones are always a disappointment! I’d tie them with red and green curling ribbon and will look for elf stickers I think…

then I was thinking how to make them Christmassy? Green and red smarties? Skittles? Maybe a chocolate figure like the mini santas from aldi that come in the net bags in amongst normal chocolate buttons and jazzies? I’m aware how expensive sweets are so any ideas how to keep costs down so I still make a profit? What would make you want one?

Also planning a guess the teddy birthday and maybe a tombola style sale for any brand new or quality donations…

Oh, have a look at the santa sleigh on here!
I am riduculously excited at the thought of making these!
What you intend to do sounds attractive - I would buy.

Look up grinch pills as well you can print labels off and pop them on tictacs. You could always call them something other than pills.

Home bargains and b and m have a good selection, not too expensive either. If you are doing a lot maybe look at buying wholesale?? Or try the discount stores online?? Some have lots of Christmas stuff on all year round

Bottles of water with new labels become melted snowmen.

As a pp mentioned the Santa sleighs are a great idea.

For sweets pop into Costco if you have a membership or know someone who does and buy sweets in bulk.

Also clear plastic baubles filled with sweets look good hanging from a tree.

My kids ran a sweet stall last year. It was really popular but they didn't make much of a profit. We covered the cost of the sweets / pa laying and saw it as a donation to the school and got me off the hook for the rest of the year

A few years ago my son set up a small sweet business to raise money to go to the scout jamboree. We bought wholesale from a company called Hancocks and he managed to make a few £100s profit.
