Boys - possibly a mini lego pack, Pokemon card pack, chocolate, deodorant, socks/boxers, gift voucher (perhaps Amazon or Nando's/favourite food place), card game
Girls - lip balm, face pack, socks, sweets, deodorant, voucher for favourite place, card game, keyring, craft set

Man - alcohol mini, socks, t-shirt, whisky soap (or another scent, my partner loved handmade whisky soap this last year) pack of cards, jelly beans

Just a few general ideas.

Man - lottery ticket, packet of seeds if a gardener, alcohol miniature.
All of them - a Christmas cookie that all supermarkets will do nearer the time.
7 year old - stickers, bath bomb, bracelet/necklace/purse from Claire’s, £1 coin, yo yo.

I just put an order In on poundfun.com for stocking fillers for my two boys and it arrived yesterday and I’m really impressed. I’m not affiliated or sponsored by them I promise 😂
I’d never ordered from there before but they had some good bits (and also some questionable tat that I avoided!)

some highlights that I got were:
a crystal growing set (£1.50 I think?)
science experiment kit (£2)
alien slime egg £1 (my kids love slime!)
Snowball play (add water and it makes fake snow I think- but we’ve not tried it before)
Other prank, magic tricks, and craft kit bits too.

Thank you all for your ideas ❤️

I've just about finished buying for my DH's Christmas stocking 😁

I have got him:
A mug with garden birds on it (he loves watching the birds on the feeder but doesn't know much about them)
A shower speaker
A small bottle of his favourite shower gel from L'Occitane
Some meat claws
Some wooden mini fit together animal figures
A jigsaw made up of animal shapes
a book of garden birds
a colouring book of our city
Some Christmas socks from fat face,
a couple more things I have forgotten

still to get:
Chocolate coins
Turkish delight
Satsuma

Thanks so much...haha a satsuma to remind him of the good old days no doubt, love it

So far with my 11 yo. I buy a lot on sale, second hand books (they look new) ect. And quite a lot she would need anyway.

A scout scarf
A pack of bath bombs
3 lip glosses
A small makeup purse
Pencils/erasers/ruler (school stuff)
4 books in her different languages (she loves reading)
A book mark
A cooking book
A deodorant
Christmas socks
Hair stuff/brush
A Christmas shirt
A diary
2 DIY craft set
A Christmas apron
A bath towel
Fairy lights
A jigsaw 500 pieces

I suppose I buy some fruit tea, cookies and sweets closer to Christmas.

Family tickets for the pools, family tickets for a Christmas performance at theatre, a board game and ingrediens for a baking day are a tradition.

Our oldest two children are at university. They get a 'survial' Christmas sock based on supermarked shopping and are happy.

You mention budgeting, so here are my affordable suggestions! (You can see I only ever shop in about 4 different shops too.....)

he girls (and possibly the boys) might like some cute stationery - don't know if you have a Kenji store near you for example but they do really sweet little pens, notebooks, and also things like key rings and pin badges etc, which are cheaper than you would expect and really nice designs I think.

Face packs, definitely for the girls - and I have to say my ex husband loved them too, and so does my adult step-son.... Primark have a big range and are cheap, Superdrug also.

Poundland also do some foot masks - foot peels? - that don't dissolve your feet away and are surprisingly effective.

Poundland also have a great range of nail varnishes.....

Poundland fragrances are actually pretty nice. I got my mom one with a flower on the lid that is lovely - I always borrow it when I go round.

Poundland sweets - they have an excellent range - the fake Toblerone (think it's called Twin Peaks?) is really nice.....

Everybody likes socks. Again I the Kenji store is good for these?

Second hand books from charity shops? You often find things that haven't even been opened - often 2 or 3 for a pound.....

Chocolate stirrers from somewhere like Lidl or Aldi?

Have you done one before? I only ask because 7 is an awful lot. I get for some you can repeat gifts, but trying to come up with, and pay for, 25 x 7 small individual gifts is an astonishing amount.

I did a "make your own" for DS one year. It cost a bomb not to just get crap, and took an inordinate amount of time to source.

Another year when he liked Lego, I managed to bulk buy 25 mini figures so that was easier on the admin side at least.

Another year I printed out 25 Christmas themed jokes.

Another year, I got a 100 piece puzzle and he got 4 a day to make a final picture of the nativity.

I'd go more along those lines for your own time, money and sanity.

More great ideas thank you all 🥰 yes I have done before but not for this many and usually some of the children ask for specific calendars but this year they have all opted for the DIY ones.
I love the jigsaw, some pieces at a time idea and actually have some Christmas themed jigsaws already stashed!

Led lights
Water bottles
Glittery pens
Stickers
Glowing stickers
Led lights
Fidget toys
Hair accessories

For those older ones could be vouchers, gift cards, personalized planners, face masks, gloves, washable hairsprays, portable chargers, ring lights.

Fontainebleau007 · 12/09/2024 09:52

My DH usually gets a couple of nice shower gels, miniature bottle of whiskey, chocolate, something like a pen with a funny slogan, deodorant, sweets

Boys: Pringles, chocolate coins, a nice shower gel, temporary tattoos, pen or pencil, pair of socks, A couple of party bag style toys like those aliens that stick to the wall or a paper aeroplane to make.
(Though this year, I'll probably not do the toys and just give a voucher each for the Xbox, they're getting a little bit older)
