Jewellery items for a boy

I have bought a type of jewellery box (requested) for a 7 year old boy, and would like to put some items inside it before giving.

I have looked in the high street shops for boy's jewellery but have not found any, does anyone know of places I could buy some please?

If he's likely to wear jewellery and if so, what type. Do 7 year olds wear jewellery (male or female)?

If he wanted a jewellery box doesn't that mean he's already got jewellery?

I would just give him the box if that's what he wanted and asked for.

I would be inclined to put a watch in, you can get themed digital watches for about £5-£10 from Smyths toyshop so would get a minecraft or whatever theme he likes if you definitely want to put something in it. It's possible he wants it for something else though, my kids used to use jewellery type boxes as treasure boxes for stones/ random tiny toys etc.

My almost-7 year old boy loves making and wearing friendship bracelets, so you could consider a kit to go with it if you think he would like that.

Snap bands. Silicone wristbands.

I’ve found “surfer jewellery” to be a good term to search for more child friendly stuff that’s not rubbish! Lots of wooden beads, macrame style bracelets, eg.

I agree it’s a good idea to check whether he definitely wanted it for jewellery or other treasures. Though I think you’d have got different answers if it was for a girl.

It's my grandson, I bought his sister a jewellery box and little bits to go in it for her birthday and he liked it and asked if he could have one aswell. I was thinking of a beaded bracelet, leather necklace with a roman coin type of thing, just fun bits of jewellery that a little boy might like to wear. (similar to what you might buy for your child on holidays from the local market type of things).

Does he like football? My 9 year old nephew has started wearing gold chains / crosses because footballers he likes do, and his younger brother (6) has started copying him.

DS1 has a jewellery box, he's 5 but very into sparkly gems so he has costume jewellery.

Mine always wore a silver bangle, a flat silver expanding bangle until he was about 12. He also wore a good chain with a pendant on it that's popular in Europe (outting). He always likes wearing it. He moved in to a flat silver pen bake, I guess you'd describe it as a cuff style?
Nephew s have worn the same pendant on chain, or a cross at times, silver chains ( not all at once) and either a wrist chain in silver, a leather bracelet or leather and silver one or again silver bangle. Lots online.

Oh yes they like the breaded bracelets made of volcanic rock too. The fact is from a volcano is very cool if you are 7! As are "sharks" teeth.

Is he musical? Etsy have bracelets made from guitar strings.

Another bracelet one, but what about the Network Scouts DIY Paracord Bracelet. You make it yourself but it teaches you about knots and there are a range of colours.

No matter what you put in there for him, he'll be so pleased with it.

What about a bracelet or a cool necklace? Surfing or sports stores often have jewellery for males

Cool ideas on here. Also search tool bracelet, utility bracket, survival bracelet (although I'm not sure if 7 may be too young for this)

They are very cool and always have an offer on and the tracking is very good best small present I bought last year for various little kids, pre teens and then older siblings as they all liked them!
