I'm lying on the settee feeling sorry for myself with a chappy cold (that's been lingering for weeks)

I love a browse but don't need to buy much... Happy to browse for others too!

I'm after a biker jacket that would suit a chunky, busty 45 year old

Some new bathroom towels

Day dresses with pockets for a 16/18

Cardigans for work - with pockets in a 16/18

What are you after?

If anyone is looking for chewbacca lego it's currently on amazon for £124.99 as when it was first released it was round about the £180 price mark

NorthernGirlie · 26/12/2023 17:52

What did you get? I went for a nose on their website earlier but got distracted by Die Hard!

A Lego train set! It's not long till DS's birthday.

And cheap craft stuff to put away for next Christmas.

Not the best thing to be shopping for but a dress suitable for a funeral and a black or dark grey belted wrap coat, both size 12

I'm looking for nice individual Christmas cards (brother, aunty and uncle type of thing). I found the paperwork for the ones I bought in the sale last year - I bought them on 8 December last year from WH Smith, and they were all reduced then from about £4 or £5 each to about £1.50 each!

No chance so far there, their boxed cards are 50% off but that's it.

I'll keep looking, and will of course post here if I find any good bargains.

I really need good cheap skincare for 40s, dry/combination, slightly sensitive skin. My usuals are Clarins and Estée Lauder (particularly advanced night repair serum) but finances are tight this year. Not sure what to go for- is Boots no.7 any good? I’ve seen a good protect and perfect gift set for £47. I’ve tried the Ordinary but it’s just dried out my skin, so I need something new but cheap!

@NorthernGirlie Try Barney's Originals on ASOS for the leather jacket

psuedocream3 · 26/12/2023 19:14

Im looking for a men's leather shearling long sleeved jacket/coat if anyone has any ideas?

GardensandGrandDesigns · 26/12/2023 22:32

Metal pans, thinking le creuset.

Namechanged4obviousreasons · 27/12/2023 00:02

@GardensandGrandDesigns Not the same as LC obviously but Sainsburys always do nice cast iron pans that are very similar in design to LC. I’ve had some for years and they’re still in great condition.

NorthernGirlie · 27/12/2023 08:53

Consider Ninja pans @GardensandGrandDesigns we got the big ome as a wedding gift and it's great. Used every couple of days for 2 years, thrown in the dishwasher and it's great.

We have a decent set of brass bottomed pans so don't need more but I still looked through their sale!
