The big supermarket shop - what do I need to buy?

Right, I'm hitting the supermarket tomorrow morning. What do I need to get? Not food so much because I'm visiting family for dinner on Christmas Day and St. Stephen's Day. I mainly need breakfast stuff for those days. I'm hosting on the 27th (small family group) but I'm doing a seafood curry so I just need a small bit of veg. and fish from the fishmonger (I've loads of rice and spices already).

I'll pick up fresh bread and milk on Christmas Eve morning.

I have a bottle of Jameson (for Dad), Baileys (for me) and red and white wine.

I've a Christmas pudding from last year which I think is still in date. And a tub of chocolates.

I'm thinking more along the lines of tin foil, kitchen towel, olive oil, loo rolls etc. And cat food and litter obviously. And snacks. And whipped cream to go with the pudding.

Should probably pick up something for dinner for tomorrow also.

Anything else I'm missing? Christmas crackers I guess.

I'm heading off to clean out the fridge and then I'll start on my list.

Croissants, orange juice. Something that can be cooked from frozen. Part-baked baguettes.

You could fry the Christmas pud from last year with Bacon etc for breakfast if slightly out of date. Pastries, fresh fruit? Profiteroles or Panna cotta dessert if the pud is out of date. Soda farls, eggs, yoghurt for breakfast. Good coffee or tea. Nice jam or marmalade for toast.

Ice cream, chopped nuts, chocolate sauce (or make it with evaporated milk and a bar of chocolate) in case the pudding isn't good.
