Santa wrapping paper?

So bear with me. Every year for the presents that Santa gifts, I always make sure it's a paper that my kids haven't already seen in the house, and it's usually red with Santa faces.
I got one last year and used it for Santa gifts and pugged the rest of it away out of sight at the back of my wardrobe.
I bought another very similar designed one for this year's Santa gifts and have hidden it away also.
My 8 & 6 year old are very with it and keep trying to get into my wardrobe, nosey little blighters! and would figure things out quickly, tonight my 8 year old showed me a present she had wrapped for the dog using last years Santa paper. She'd obviously been digging about, she didn't comment on it being like santas paper etc, but I'm worried now that she's either also spotted this years paper and or will associate this years paper with last years and figure out the Santa trick.
I know I sound ridiculous dont I? do I just buy yet MORE paper, or crack on and hope for the best. For the record I have only used the paper to wrap 3 things so far so would mean re wrapping those as well. I'm clinging on to the Santa magic this year as by next Christmas il have a 9 year old and want to keep the magic as long as possible!

Santa must have similar taste in paper as you, isn't that nice? I wouldn't overthink it, the paper will be different to the rest on the day and your DC probably won't notice the details.
Santa uses different paper here too and it occasionally makes an appearance the following year. My DC have never noticed.

I would buy more - the cheaper the better.
However your kids should not be looking in your wardrobe or anywhere in your bedroom
They are old enough to know how to respect other people’s privacy

I’m afraid your paper management skills have failed - you have to get rid of previous years Santa paper! I generally hide it in the loft and then give away at work.

Buy more paper

I used to do separate paper - now I tell the kids that I have to send Santa the wrapping paper for him to wrap so it all matches under the tree. They have never questioned this 😂

My patents used to tell me and db that they sent paper to santa.

We tell ds we buy it, wrap it, send it and then santa delivers it. He's only 4 so is happy with this ridiculous method 🤣

Oh agreed!! They are constantly told to keep out of my wardrobe, it's just the one place in my home I want privacy and they know it, but they're nosey about my clothes and like to hide things in there too!

Santa has been known to borrow our wrapping paper.

DD has never noticed the paper, which is strange as she normally doesn't miss a thing!

You are on the ball! Yes I think I might need to purchase new paper and upcycle the rest to someone else next year! Maybe a wrapping paper swap shop could be a thing!
