We're having Christmas dinner at a family members this year. Each household is providing different parts of the meal. We are getting together at 3pm but not eating until 5pm. Host has a single oven so we don't have a lot of space, so we're trying to work out how to get/keep all the elements nice and hot (and remain crispy where needed (eg potatoes)). I think we have one air fryer and potentially two slow cookers to add to the mix. There's 11 in total so there will be substantial quantities to factor in too 😬 does anyone have any strategies or suggest please?

Oh you have the easiest (nicest) part! You could even cook the potatoes the day before and then just heat them up! Triple cooked chips are great, triple cooked roasties are heaven!

All plates into a dish washer on a timed programme to end as you start playing up, then plates are hot and this makes a HUGE difference. Veg in slow cookers etc , roasties in a ceramic or heated dish with kitchen roll on the bottom and they can be refreshed for 1-2 minutes per person on the hottest setting on the air fryer. Should only take 2-3 lots.

Plates can be heated up in the microwave ahead of time and put into one of those foil lined shopping bags for frozen foods - try to press the air out of it and seal. I always do this so it frees up the microwave for heating up food if you are short of cooking space. They stay warm for a good 30 mins or more. You might find wrapping them together in foil and putting into a coolbag may also do the trick if you don't have one of those bags.
