Present for man in his sixties with no hobbies?!

I need ideas for a gift around the £30 mark for a man in his sixties with literally no hobbies.

He does not drink, smoke or read books. He doesn't watch sport or do sport. He watches a lot of TV and already has the subscription services so that's a no go. He doesn't have friends. He works in a job he dislikes (so no work-related presents) and he loves his grandchildren but HATES tat (i.e. no "world's best grandad" mugs).

I have already got him a jumper and a photo frame of the grandchildren. Please help me, I don't want to buy the poor man socks again.

Something edible that you know he can eat? I find specialist cheeses a useful go-to.

One of those cuddle/sit up cushions
A throw (Debenhams have got some mega reduced ones)
A heated throw
One of those bendy over the sofa arm rest trays

Usually my go to for a man of that age would be a Fisherman's vest or utility waistcoat. Basically a unpadded gilet with a thousand different pockets.

A wool scarf?

Fudge Kitchen do boxed fudge in individual squares - which is a bit different to boxes of chocolates?

A hamper?

Nice glass tumblers?

There is only one answer - and the answer is cheese.

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie and @DrNo007 and @Glassesfrompubs - I was just going to say the same thing. My father sometimes sends us a half wheel of a cheese we love but cannot buy locally - utterly brilliant . I think a jumper and a photo is lovely enough already. I would not worry if there is nothing obvious . Nothing worse than presents going straight in the bin or never seen again .

Of course it depends on people liking cheese but an edible thing which you know he would like must surely be appreciated.

It may amuse some to know I have put socks on my Father Christmas list because the pesky blighters flee me or become firm friends with others of not the same colour. I did buy one of those little net things to keep socks together in the wash but it broke so I may be only person ever who will welcome socks for Christmas 😂

A nice checked brushed cotton shirt to go under the jumper. Preferably with a pocket for reading glasses.

I may have a family member who fits your description. 😉

Hamper maybe?

A voucher for somewhere he could take his DGC .

You say he doesn't read books but how about a yearly sub to Private Eye or The Oldie? I've given both these and they have the advantage of being repeatable every year if they prove popular.
