A Christmas Quest - smart ball soccer bot

I thought I’d get away with it this year but seems that I have a Christmas Santa quest - as I normally do!
A little boy who really asks for very little, mentioned yesterday that he really only wants the robot ball from Santa.

Turbs out this is the - smart ball soccer bot.
I was delighted at last I knew what he wanted.
And then googled after bedtime.
Sold out everywhere, going for ££££ on eBay.
WTAF 😖😳
Can anyone help me, anyone hit one there’re not going to use or seen them anywhere - not for extra ££ - £50 is just about doable for me!

I am Midlands based. I downloaded HotStock and it would alert me they were in stock and tells you all the postcodes. It didn't take me long to realise though that it alerts a little too late, if I kept refreshing I would find out before the alert. However the alerts helped me be able to know which postcodes had availability. Luckily mine did, but I was happy to consider travelling. I chose delivery in the end rather than click and collect. It seems the mornings are a popular time for Argos to add - every 20-50 minutes they would be available.

Edit: Ignore this!! When you actually add to your basket it comes up with message out of stock at warehouse.

I get that too. So annoying.

It kept doing that for me. Just need to be quick. I got one in the end. Seems quite a few are doing the same to get one. Wishing you all the luck x

Cannot seem to find one near me, the closest smyths is about 1 hour 20 away from me! If anyone happens to pick up a spare amd happy to post id be forever grateful!

The prices on ebay etc are crazy! Someone's selling one for 125 where I love but I just can't justify paying that x

hello! I just thought i’d let you know that my local Smyths had some in on Saturday, and it was around 3pm when they put them out of the shelves - I happened to walk in just as she was putting them out. It might be worth double checking that its definitely the morning they get the delivery

I'm in exactly the same predicament! We are in kent and have two smyths stores local-ish to us. My husband popped in yesterday with no luck and the staff said they being sold before the stores are even open. Although on their website there is no option to check availability in stores, so I have no idea how they are being snapped up so fast. We've been refreshing argos and smyths websites religiously in the mornings and evenings and checking stock checker websites with no luck.
My husband is on a mission with this and has just popped back out to smyths (he said it reminds him of the film jingle all the way, with Arnold Schwarzenegger)
If anyone gets their hands on a spare in the kent area we would happily take it off your hands

If anyone is willing/able to travel to WV1 postcode they keep coming in and out of stock this morning (Wolverhampton). This is where I got one 2 days ago. Keep refreshing and have it in your basket ready to pay is number 1 tip from me (also check
hot stock for other postcodes as it’s alerted me a few times today of stock in and out - whereas yesterday no where had stock)

Smyths in Crawley had them in stock behind the click and collect counter, they’re not putting them out. Call them and see if they have any

Anyone know of any stock in Cambridge area? Hot stock keep notifying me of Argos stock but none when I go online 🙈

You need to have one in your basket and keep refreshing. It’s too late once hot stock alerts you

We ended up getting the bot yesterday from Argos - the product is faulty 🙄🙄🙄

We didn’t manage to get one yet. But I’ve seen lots of posts people saying they didn’t realise the ball needed batteries too. Have u done that? Hope you get it working or find a replacement!

I was told in Smyths I needed so many batteries for the ball and so many for the bot. They were different sizes too. My son enjoyed it yesterday, he now wants a bigger house so he has more room to play with it
