Can I show you my daughters lovely Christmas card…

I’ve name changed for this as very outing, have posted on my SM (please excuse the terrible spelling of my user name, was intentional and not proud!)

My DD painted a Christmas picture and not only did she win her school Christmas card competition with it, my lovely parents sat and printed lots out on card to surprise her…

She is very creatively talented but does not have a lot of self belief and was made up to see it on card.

Just a little bit of Christmas spirit for you all.

Absolutely gorgeous! It looks professional enough to sell commercially.
I have a similarly talented DC who has no faith or trust that their work or talent is brilliant - it's so frustrating that they can't see what everyone else sees!

Another potential customer here OP! It’s very beautiful and your daughter is so talented. Are you showing her this thread? I hope all the lovely comments boost her confidence - she should have an abundance of it. I used to work in children’s publishing and I could see her having a great future as a book illustrator if that’s something that would interest her.

The picture has so much charm and atmosphere - please let us know if she decides to produce some to sell.

WOW I can’t believe how many people have commented, you are all so lovely and I’ll definitely show her all your lovely comments when she is back tonight.

I did suggest that she could open up a little Etsy store back in November when she 1st painted it but I think confidence and busy Sixth Form timetable got in the way but I hope all your kind words might give her the boost she needs to do something with her talent.
