Is there one? Not tacky? Not horrible? Smth elegant, that would serve us a couple of years. Bright and large.
Natural ones are £50+ and I don't think I can spend it on one year only. Ok of it is reusable but not for a couple of weeks.

I had a wicker woven type one before with red berries in. Last year I got one from John Lewis with dried clementines in it.

You can also get some bauble ones I quite like.

OP you could make your own. You can pick up a bunch of holly on a market stall for £5. You can put pieces of real Xmas tree branches at the back of the wreath and put a big red bow. You can buy a real Xmas tree at Asda for £20. You could cut the bottom branches up to go on a wreath and have a real tree and a real wreath. You can buy the wreath structure on Amazon or a garden centre.

I made one last year with a good quality straw ring as the base. Easy with Nordmann needles, the other types are too spiky. Kept it dry and redid it this year. Quite easy and did not take long. Just don’t skimp on the straw ring (has to be really dense to hold everything securely) or xl staples to secure the leaves. The baubles and ribbons are still okay, so will go back on once there is a new layer of leaves.

NinNinJin · 02/12/2023 13:54

@Evilcold has Nordmann survived a year? Not fallen off?

I make my own every year, using small branches/long twigs of birch - I can pick these up easily nearby. I fashion that into an approximation of a circle. (I put that base on the fire when Christmas is over.) I keep the ribbons, baubles, fir cones and whatever else I've decorated it with from year to year, storing them with the other Xmas decs, but in their own labelled box. I add extra things as they take my fancy. It doesn't look 'shop', but I like it. The hardest part is finding the floristry wire each year- it is never where I think it should be. Cost= £0.

Have a look in TK Maxx-I found a lovely natural wood/wicker one there a couple of years ago, it's fairly large and understated which is my preference for a door wreath.

I can't remember how much I paid but wouldn't have been more than £15-£30.

I had a Dibor one and it didn’t cope very well with being outside, it only lasted two Christmases.

Stresa22 · 02/12/2023 14:41

Etsy has some lovely wreaths.

The Nordmann leaves last about a month, I just replaced them for this year. Everything else is fine.

I have a brass frame from a company called Nkuku and I twist my own holly, eucalyptus etc into it annually.

@beetr00 oh thank you!!! Exactly what I wanted just ordered one! And the price is just ideal
I'm glad I asked here 😊😊😊

I might try a homemade one next year. Thank you everyone! Very inspiring!

Not very organised these days and running like a headless chicken with work and children activities. Yes, the camel nativity suit, I remember about you!
Just wanted to add some Christmas vibe to cheer things up.

I bought a wicker star shaped one a few years ago and I just stick extra bits on it

perfectionistchaos · 02/12/2023 15:47

I have a lovely felt one. It has a robin! 😀

IDontLikePinaColadas · 02/12/2023 16:21

I made this one about 10 years ago. All you need is the base, your decorations of choice and a glue gun.

For indoors I bought a lovely sparkly gold one from tkmaxx for £15 and for outside, Morrisons have natural ones for £10

NinNinJin · 04/12/2023 10:09

Oh I'm now doubting myself whether I got smth made in China 😕
