Thermal cycling gloves for dh

Can anyone recommend some gloves suitable for cycling that are truly good at keeping hands warm? Dh has poor circulation in his hands and is hampered after only a mile or two by frozen fingers that don't move well in normal cycling gloves.

There are a billion no-name ones on amazon but I have no idea if they are truly up to the job so if anyone has a good pair they would recommend I'd love to hear it. Budget up to about £40 realistically.

bumping this thread as I’m after the same thing for my DH! Castelli seem to come up on recommended lists but reviews for all gloves seem mixed…

I rate layering a thin insulated liner glove with sealskinz winter cycling gloves on top. Apologies, bought mine years ago so no idea if this suits your budget.

Good luck!

When it's very cold DH uses electric gloves. Specifically these - see link below. They are a bit thick but he manages to cope OK with brakes and gears (both twist grip and thumb shifters). He rides with electric socks as well and coped when we lived abroad commuting to work in temperatures down to -12°C one year.

The only gloves I have found which keep my hands and especially fingers toasty warm and dry are thermal gardening gloves. I think they are called ThermalMax. They are a bit more bulky than ‘proper’ cycling gloves but the benefits are more than worth it! I found the thermal cycling gloves would make my hands sweat so after a few wears would turn inside out and I couldn’t get my fingers down to the end which made them uncomfortable and very expensive to ditch after four or five wears!
