We budget around £150 per child, DS2 has ended up with two 'big' presents (headphones and binoculars) that have already taken us to £140 but with Black Friday deals we couldn't pass it up. Headphones are something he's asked for, binoculars he'll mostly use at night for stargazing so I'd like him to have them in winter rather than hang onto them until his birthday. He's a good kid and understands we've got budgets but I would like him to have a couple of bits more to open! As well as space he's into anything science/engineering, big Tube geek, Spurs fan but doesn't really play sport himself.

The £150 isn't a strict limit, I'd be happy to spend around another £30 or so.

My DS (15) is a Spurs fan too and I've just bought him a lovely poster print of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium along with a cheapish frame to put on his wall which came to less than £25.

Also, would he be interested in a stadium tour? They were doing a BOGOF offer for Black Friday so he could go with a parent but only pay for one ticket.

A book?

My DS loves combat robotics, its so expensive though to build your own.

Last year we took him to see extreme robots live and this year I just bought him the hex smash arena (was only £12.50).

Spurs stadium tour would be absolutely perfect and DH also thrilled to take him Grin Solved in the first reply, this is why I love MN! Thank you @CoffeeChocolateWine
