3 year old drawing

My about to turn 3 year old boy absolutely loves drawing.
we have the usual art sets and colouring books. He’s had a LED drawing tablet and an etch sketch type thing over the last year.
I'm just wondering if I’m missing something else that we can get him?
we do arts and crafts with glue and paint together but he also likes sitting by himself having quiet time and drawing.
Any ideas would be appreciated please. Everything I seem to find is too old for him
thanks

My 4 year old was thrilled by a huge long box set of 50 different coloured gel pens, sparkly, neon, pastel etc from Hobby Craft.

She will sit for ages with them and they are not too messy for independant play, she likes colouring simple "mindfulness" mandala animals etc

Have you started letter and number books yet? If he likes drawing and has good fine motor skills you could start those now (where they follow the dots to complete the letter/number) and if you practice numbers as much as possible you can then begin to move into numbered dot to dots and paint by numbers

Other than that keep going with the drawing! Use anything (cereal boxes covered in paper with squares cut out for doors and windows to make a house to colour or a bottle with paper covering to colour a rocket etc).

You can also try rubbing with him over the top of coins/leaves etc :)

Mine loves her magnadoodle or she has a fire tablet that has colouring games on it.

Out of curiosity would you recommend the LCD drawing tablet? I was going to get mine one but have seen lots of bad reviews so now I don't know.

I have also considered the neon drawing pads. Problem is anything with an actual pen and she gives herself tattoos.

Thank you for everyone suggestions.
we do lots with him in terms of crafts and playing. It’s more independent free play I’m looking for as He’s dropped his naps and has no interest in books so this is his down time.
@WeirdPookah maybe that’s all he needs, just something different to what he already has. We do sometimes have an issue with pens as he sees every wall as a blank canvas!
@HAF1119 i will start with the number/letter books thank you. My older DD had no interest in them at this age but I think he would
@housethatbuiltme how old is she? He has had one since he was 2 and absolutely loves them. Some of the cheaper ones don’t last that long in terms of of clearing properly etc. The more expensive ones are better. I would definitely recommend
