DD not really wanting much

DD 14 in January doesn't really want much for Xmas and her birthday.

When they get older do you buy them things that you may buy if they needed at other times of the year?

For example DD said new fluffy pj's, robe and slippers.
Another example, joggers and tops.

When she was younger she used to get quite a bit (her sister 10, list is quite long) and so feel a little bad if she only gets clothes and pj's.

Thanks

Would she like some fun food items?
I've got my daughter a box of Churro Cinnamon Cereal, I would never buy that as a normal breakfast, but it's a fun silly gift.

A couple years ago I got my husband a Noodle Dinosaur Bowl, and a huge box of ramen style noodles, you just put the boiling water in, clip the lid and leave it. It's been the best gift ever! He likes to go to the Asian markets and try lots of different noodles.

Weighted blankets are also amazing!

Thanks a couple of fun silly gifts might be a good idea.

gift cards are good ideas for teens, as they can go shopping and choose their own gifts. primark, boots, zara, shein, pretty little thing, pandora, and superdrug are all shops my 14 year old likes.

Ds 16 now likes some cash to put towards something. We have given experiences in the past like a trip to Harry Potter world. I still do stockings so pop little bits in there which ds says is the best bit!!

Sounds like she likes things she can use/wear. Lush bath bombs, a face mask, her favourite snack, a personalised mug, some spending money, nail polish, a book she wants to read, lip balm, cinema tickets to a film she wants to see

We were thinking of gift cards. She loves shopping with friends and would probably enjoy picking her own gifts rather than us possibly picking something she doesn't like. Think I was feeling a bit mean that it's all clothes type things which are essentials but gift cards would probably be spent on clothes so no difference really.

What about giving her an experience that she hasn't done before for example a concert, day out, sports activity day like archery, climbing, theater etc

How about some wax melts and a burner

Games are always a good idea, exploding kittens? Throw throw burrito etc

HP sprocket or little photo printer? Can always combine that with little pegs and a cork board /frame to put the pics up?

If she likes Harry Potter the Minalima illustrated books are so lovely. They have lift the flag bits and are so special.

Q&A journal (they have a teens one)

If she has AirPods you can get pretty or fun little novelty cases for them

If she’s into pampering or make up there’s some good deals on Notino & Look Fantastic. (I recently bought the very popular Sol De Janeiro set for less than £20).
I have also bought Glossybox sets.
Shein have some great make up storage boxes as well, there’s currently a very popular style on offer for £25.

Also popular are waffle maker/ice cream maker/etc. And sunset lamp/room projector
