How do you share your kids Christmas wish list with family?

I give a few ideas out but they want more or different ones etc. I think I just want some way of sharing the whole list and let them get on with it.

Has anyone found as good way to do it?

The kids cut stuff out from smyths catalogue and stick on paper make a Christmas list. I take photos of it and send that to family members if asked, with the request that they let me know what they're thinking of getting so we don't end up with duplicates. If family members have set budget, I'll just tell them something from the list that's about the right price, and Ithink will be most played with.

I keep a list on the notes app on my phone with links or photos, and I organise it by price.

If I’m asked I send suggestions (text or WhatsApp) in the relevant price range.

Most people have the sense to let me know what they’ve bought so I can edit accordingly.

sil insists on being secretive about her gifts so I have to try and think up something that will be appreciated but no one has their heart set on, which is much harder.

Gifster is exactly what you’re looking for!! It’s amazing, I made my whole family use it (all my siblings, their spouses and kids and my parents) there was some resistance at first 🤣 but now everyone loves it.

It’s free and you can use it for adult lists too which works out well for us as we do a secret Santa.

You can “rank” gifts on it from one to five stars to say which gifts are too if your list and which are less important.

You can mark an item as “reserved” if that’s what you are planning to buy for that person but haven’t got around to doing the actual shopping yet. And also mark it “bought” once it’s bought. It won’t show up on your adult gift list so your surprises won’t be spoiled. But will on a kids list that you’re managing so that two people don’t buy the same thing and you can see what relatives have bought off the list already. When my son was younger and I really wanted to buy specific things off his list for “Santa” presents I could also mark them as “reserved” so relatives knew I wanted to get them and could see what wasn’t earmarked for a Santa present already.

You can also add gift suggestions to someone’s list so eg if I see something I think is perfect for my sister I can add it onto her list, it won’t show up on her original list so it stays a surprise but my mum can see my suggestion for example.

You can add a link for where to buy the thing you’re looking for and specify sizes etc for clothing which is very useful especially with growing kids! And give an idea of price.

You can ask it to sort the list by price or by star rating etc.

I really recommend it! We totally rely on it these days and not just for Christmas, for birthdays, anniversaries etc too.
