Tween/teen stockings - things to do!

Have got plenty of stocking stuff and ideas for 2 tween/young teen girls but really want some inexpensive ideas for ‘things to do’. Found last year that they ask for smellies and things for their room but now no toys so once they’ve examined their goodies, there’s a lack of things to ‘do’. I’ll be busy with food and grandparents have limited energy/mobility so would love some craft/make/play ideas that will go down well with that age. For example, found a £3 bubble tea kit in Asda so reckon they’ll make those which will take half an hour…

Any more thoughts please??

My tween DD is slightly obsessed with pandas so I got her this to go in her stocking...
3D panda model
...there are loads of other ones too.

Some kind of card game or trivia cards? DD got Sussed card game last year which was fun.

Blank flip books and some nice pens
Smart Games puzzle
Palm reading book
Make-up/nail polish?

Hobbycraft do some cute mini cross stitch kits too which might work?

brilliant ideas, thank you. Love the models and trivia game/magic trick could be perfect.

Thanks. Keep them coming!

Sorry no suggestions but just shamelessly marking my place for ideas too!! DD is into smelliest/ bath bombs/ different flavour lip glosses

Thanks. Magazine is a good idea - easy read without needing to commit to a full book on the busy Xmas day. Though don’t know what magazine to get for this age… Might look for a comedy little book of riddles or funny info too.

I get mine out post stocking opening for a big long dog walk. It’s lovely! And then back for breakfast, then they go through all their sticking bits and there’s always items to play with or do or a new book in the stocking.

PP's suggestion of origami paper is a great idea and one I've done before for my daughter. Have a look at Folded Square on Etsy. I've bought from there before and really lovely quality and designs.

These look really fun too and shouldn’t require too much supervision (or make too much mess!)
